The DiVINE (Digitalisation Vision Inland Navigation Europe) project supports the sector in driving the digital transition in line with the EU Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.
Its overall goal is to develop a concrete Implementation Plan and Roadmap for the IWT Digitalisation Vision, defining how the sector can become fully digital, connected, automated, and sustainable by 2035. To achieve this, DiVINE promotes close public-private cooperation, cross-border coordination, and alignment with existing EU policy and data initiatives such as the European Mobility Data Space and River Information Services (RIS).
