Evaluation of the impact of the project on Multimodal Digital Mobility Services in the first public workshop

The European Commission held a workshop on the newly introduced impact analysis for the project on Multimodal Digital Mobility Services in February. Over 270 people attended the workshop.

The event began with a presentation of the study supporting the project’s MDMS Impact Assessment, as well as the program’s objectives. The meeting came to a close with a poll, in which participants were asked to reply the question “What would be the impact of a significant increase of MDMS use on:

1) Comfort / ease of booking tickets?

2) Travel time?

3) Travel costs?

4) Modal shift?”

The debate’s main drivers were highlighted, as well as the essential primary problems. There was also a poll on problem drivers which can be an impediment for the use of MDMS.  The policy objectives of the intervention, which are linked to the situation, were also outlined.
