A whole day of free scientific foresights into future transport research, along with business and policy reflections!
In March 2003, a network of top academic institutions engaged in high-level education and transport research, known as TransportNET, was established.
These organizations operate out of engineering and economics institutions, and they engage in transportation-related activities across all modes and regions. Its goal is to improve and encourage the effectiveness of the research activities carried out by its members before incorporating some of those activities into more complicated research programs run at the network level.
This year, TransportNET turns 20, and they would to celebrate this accomplishment with you. They assess the network’s scientific as well as social accomplishments during this one-day conference, and they look ahead to what lies ahead.
Come and join them on Friday, March 31 for presentations by the network’s PhDs in the morning and presentations by TransportNET professors in the afternoon. These presentations will be complemented by panels featuring junior and senior researchers, TransportNET alumni, industry and policy stakeholders, as well as junior and senior researchers.
The whole day of workshops, a strolling lunch, and the networking drink are all included in the free participation. It is necessary to register.
