The Inland Waterway Transport sector – represented by EBU, ESO and the IWT Platform – together with the European Federation of Inland Ports (EFIP) and Inland Navigation Europe (INE), welcome the direction of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) published under the Fit for 55 Package, however suggest a legislative amendment.
