The European Green Deal serves as the “REWWay – Modalentscheidungen im Güterverkehr”  project’s foundation, with the claimed goal of achieving climate neutrality in the transportation industry by 2050 by lowering emissions by 90%.

As a result, a considerable modal shift from highly polluting road freight transit to more sustainable modes is required. To achieve this, the promotion of sustainable modes of transportation necessitates an understanding of consumers’ choices for modal shift policy initiatives, with an emphasis on behavioral changes during the decision-making approach.

Therefore, the survey was created to evaluate these measures based on expert views from different companies. Eleven modal shift measurements were created and grouped into six various sections as part of this project. Pro Danube International encourages you to take a look at these metrics by filling out the survey.
