In March 2022, WEVA issued a press release on a new inland vessel powered by renewable hydrogen
Minister Harbers of Infrastructure and Public Works granted the green light for the construction of the ms Antonie, the first inland ship in the Netherlands to run entirely on green hydrogen, on March 30. The project is a cooperation between Nedstack, Nobian, Lenten Scheepvaart, Concordia Damen, Energy TransStore, and the inland ship cooperative NPRC, with the goal of achieving fossil-free inland shipping.
