The 3rd PLATINA3 Stage Event – the Brussels sessions – will take place on the 10th and 11th of February 2022 (online).

Project consortium is inviting  IWT policy makers of different horizons, professionals from demand and supply side, interested NGOs, research and academic experts to join for the following themes:

1. Inland waterway transport preparing to adapt to a changing climate
2. Modal shift and decarbonisation
3. Towards an EU emission label and energy index for vessels
4. The regulatory pathway towards a zero-emission fleet

Final agenda is available – view HERE!

This event is a collaboration between PLATINA3 partners and hosted by Inland Navigation Europe (INE). Project partners had been very much looking forward to welcoming the participants in person, but in the light of the current situation of the pandemic, the organisers opt for a virtual event in the interest of everyone’s health and safety.

The Brussels sessions will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the IWT sector, to exchange ideas and to interact. The conference is free of charge but requires a registration in advance.
