Public hearing on NAIADES III at the European Parliament

On 1 December 2021, the Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN) of the European Parliament organises a public hearing on NAIADES III – Strategic Tools for Sustainable Inland Waterways Transport within the EU”. The hearing will be held remotely from 9.00-11.00 CET, and will be webstreamed from the European Parliament in Brussels. The overall aim of this discussion is to hold a public debate on NAIADES III – Strategic Tools for Sustainable Inland Waterways Transport within the EU. The hearing should examine the major elements of the new programme and its implications for the sector. Specifically, experts could discuss how the proposed measures could contribute to reaching the economic and environmental objectives of the programme.

Mrs. Theresia Hacksteiner in her capacity as the EBU General Secretary will deliver one of the speeches. Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session with the TRAN Committee Members.
