In September 2025, the IWT Platform actively participated in the CESNI Working Group on Technical Requirements (CESNI/PT), contributing to discussions on several key regulatory developments for the inland navigation sector.

Hydrogen regulations: finalisation of requirements for storage and use of gaseous hydrogen in inland vessels, paving the way for inclusion in ES-TRIN 2027.
