The 5th PLATINA3 Stage Event – the Budapest sessions – will be held on October 19th and 20th, 2022. The Danube Commission will organize the event in Budapest. The program is listed below. Sign-up form goes after the program.
IWT policymakers from various orientations, demand and supply side professionals, interested NGOs, research and academic specialists, and other IWT sector members are encouraged to join the PLATINA3 community for the following themes:
-Competence standards for the use of zero or low emission propulsion systems, as well as refresher programs for environmentally friendly vessel operation.
-Roadmap for on-board systems allowing inland navigation vessel automation, vision on board systems, and autonomous navigation, as well as the abilities required to run them.
-Infrastructure for alternative energy along the river and at ports.
-IWT R&D strategy and execution plan consolidated.
