Platina3 Final Event
Together with its partners, the PLATINA3 team is pleased to invite you for the upcoming PLATINA3 – Final Stage Event on the 23rd & 24th of March 2023.
The PLATINA3 stage event provides an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, learn more about the latest developments and upcoming challenges and contribute to shaping policy of Inland Waterway Transport (IWT) in Europe. You will be able to follow several keynote speeches by high-level representatives of the European Commission (Mrs Adina VALEAN, Commissioner Transport, Mr Henrik HOLOLEI, Director-General DG MOVE) and the business community (Mr Paul Goris, KBN President, EU-IWT Platform President, Mrs Theresia Hacksteiner, EBU Secretary General,EU- IWT Platform Executive Director) and technical discussions with the experts for the various PLATINA3 topics addressed in the project.
The PLATINA3 project is in its concluding stage as the project will be finalised in June 2023. This Final Event provides the opportunity to hear and actively discuss the PLATINA3 conclusions and the recommendations for policy and R&D and deployment.
On the first day (23 March), the presentations and discussions involving all task leaders will be centred around the theme “the Greening of the Fleet and the Transition towards a Zero-Emission performance”.
On the second day (24 March), the themes Markets, Jobs & Skills, and Infrastructure will be addressed with similar closing sessions in which conclusions and recommendations will be presented by the task leaders followed by interactive discussions.
