On 7 July the International Commission fort he Protection of the River Rhine held its Annual Plenary session in Brussels.
Under the Presidency of Ms. Veronica Manfredi, Director-General for the Environment at the European Commssion, representatives of the involved Member States as well as River Commissions and observers gathered in order to discuss the implementation of relevant environmental legislation in the Rhine Riparian countries.
The IWT sector participated as observer in the plenary meeting.
